Tivoli Data Protect for SQL is a tool that integrates MS-SQL backups with TSM.

To start the GUI select "DP For SQL Management Console" from the Start menu.

Backup

1. On the "Protect Data" screen..
2. Highlight the database to be backed up
3. Ensure "Backup Method" is LEGACY
4. Click "Full Backup"
